About Me
Hi, my name is Heather R. Wyatt and I'm the owner and artist of Scrapbook-Papers-And-More.com, located in the beautiful hill country of Texas.
I began my love of art and painting at a very young age, and branched out into many other mediums from that beginning. I fell in love with scrapbooking several years ago when I first got married, then again when my children were born - I wanted to document everything! More and more, I kept finding that I turned to my computer to create elements that I just couldn’t find anywhere else. I took an art class in college and discovered a program called Photoshop. I was (and still am) completely fascinated by the digital art that can be created with it. Since then, I’ve followed tutorials written by others and picked up my own style of drawing and creating graphics. I still enjoy learning new things through tutorials, when I can find the time to work on them! I’ve been a hybrid scrapbooker from the beginning, before I even knew there was a term for it. As a graphic designer, it was just a natural progression for me. I love creating digital elements on the computer; however, I really prefer the texture and dimension of a traditional page. I have studied graphic design and various art forms for over ten years. Previously, I have worked in a craft store, was a graphic designer for a print shop, and currently work designing for my business, Scrapbook-Papers-And-More.com while I tend to my two children. I enjoy creating art in both classic and digital forms; making unique, original graphics and works of art with influences from all over the world. I'd have to say my most dominant inspirations are music, foreign cultures, and my daughter's clothes. My other artistic specialties include: polymer clay sculpture, jewelry design, and the culinary arts.
